The production of new belts for tracked snow and swamp-going vehicles of the enterprise has been mastered

To replace the old asphalt tracks with elastic wideners, the production of new belts has been launched. The tapes consist of individual links connected by means of a parallel RMS. The link is made in the form of a power reinforcing frame cast into a rubber-cord or polyurethane shell. The lateral ends of the links have the ability to deform when hitting road obstacles or when moving in a rut, without causing the caterpillar to skew or fall. Like the previous one, the new caterpillar is asphalt and has increased “reverse” rigidity to equalize the ground pressure diagram.

In order to unify the design of the vehicle's undercarriage for the installation of all-stamped metal tracks, the new track also has a central treadmill with two side ridges. The drive wheel has one crown, which facilitates better self-cleaning of the wheel from snow and dirt.
